A leader's relationship with money

Updated: Jan 9, 2021

Want to make more money? Grow as a leader.

As my friend John McGee says, "Leaders exist because problems exist."

Leaders are problem solvers. Generally, problem solvers receive financial rewards.

However, these income increases can be helpful or hurtful. It all depends on one thing: the health of your relationship with money and possessions.

Relationship with money and possessions? Yes, you have a "relationship" with money and possessions.

The good news: If your relationship with money and possessions is healthy, income increases lead to increases in joy, peace, and excitement.

The bad news: if your relationship with money and possessions is not healthy, income increases can be downright disastrous.

How do you know if your relationship is healthy or not? Listen to this week's episode of Here's What I'm Seeing (see below).

This week our guest is Nathan Dungan. Nathan is the founder and President of Share Save Spend. He's authored three books including, Prodigal Sons and Material Girls: How Not to Be Your Child's ATM.

During this episode, we explore the connection between a leader and their relationship with money and possessions. Nathan's advice and perspective are helpful for all leaders.
